Holy crap, they would have made hamburger out of the German tanks. I think we would have seen Otto Carius paraphrasing Galland and asking for a platoon of Shermans instead of Spitfires. mustang1989
I think that's the biggest gun I've ever seen on a Sherman!! Would love to see more of your armor builds!!! Very cool subject and VERY impressive modeling. BiggTim

dennismcc
Great job, considering your lack of practice it looks like you have never been gone. Cheers Dennis BiggTim

Ordnance tested a Pershing turret, which was ready before the hull, on a Sherman M4. That would have been fun! There are some drawings and description in the Hunnicutt Sherman book. I have contemplated doing the conversion as either the test vehicle or a what-if. Persherman, right? BTW, nice Isherman, Timm! BiggTim
LSP_Ray
Founds some pics online: Would have been interesting to see how well it would have done. The M36B-1 was sort of the same thing, but that thinly armored open top turret would have been a problem. Here is the build blog of someone doing this conversion. That blog is where I found the pics, too. BiggTim
