Pup7309
New kit in development to be revealed 11/11/18! http://www.wingnutwings.com/ww/31F447F4CB29C871AA2E18620B3A7CD5 Sounds like the people going to Telford might have a few nice surprises coming their (our?) way:) Edited November 6, 2018 by Pup7309 Typo alanash1963, Jan_G, Kagemusha and 1 other
Kagemusha
Going to be very interesting, considering the significance of the date. scvrobeson, Jolly Roger, esarmstrong and 2 others 4

Pup7309
WNW also has some nice photos now of finished Halberstadts: http://www.wingnutwings.com/ww/productdetail?productid=3195&cat=5 http://www.wingnutwings.com/ww/productdetail?productid=3189&cat=5 They look great. Their lozenge decals seem to look better, more Aviattic? Kagemusha
ssculptor
What surprises me is that WNW broke their concentraton on WW1 era aicraft and issued a War 2 heavy bomber kit (the Lancaster). It is a necessary choice for them, however. After all, if everyone associated with that company is part of the UK and the Commonweallth Countries, and no one else (with a few exceptions) is interested in seeing to their needs then WNW must ride to the rescue. After all, to the Brits the Lancaster is the iconic War 2 bomber, just lke the B-24 and the B-17 are Americas' War 2 heavy bombers.
LSP_K2
I'll certainly be interested to see what it might be, no doubt about that. Ryan

RNoAF
I hope its a B-26 Marauder. My favorite 2-engined bomber from WW2. alanash1963, Tnarg, Jan_G and 2 others
Tnarg
While I like the B-26 idea, completing the quartet of those WWII US bombers to hang from my ceiling (just like when I was a kid, but larger)... it will be a Breguet XIV, or so says Karnak. Their lozenge decals seem to look better, more Aviattic? The "early" model is really eye catching and offers a lot of color. The lozenge decals look entirely revised compared to the older ones. A lot of folks have commented on this. I think they look like a big improvement but would like to see them in person. Sounds like the Halberstadts will be shipping in about a month, can't wait. I also can't wait to see what is released this weekend. Pretty cool to unveil the kit on the 100th anniversary of the end of the Great War. You would think the timing of that warrants a significant release and not just the next random kit. We'll find out soon! cbk57
Being the anniversary of WWI there is no doubt it will be a WWI aircraft. Zero chance of anything made after 11/11/1918. Jan_G
Fred Jack
To add a bit of confusion, I’m a Vietnam Veteran and here in the US 11/11 is also Veteran’s Day. So what if WnWs releases the iconic craft of Vietnam, the HU-1 Helicopter, affectionately known as the Huey? Fred Jack
Actually, if I’m not mistaken, the Vickers Vimy made it’s first flight in Nov 1918. KiwiZac

So was the Halifax Bomber, I consider like the B-24 being less popular than the B-17 by modlers but the Halifax was better looking than the Lanc. The real workhorse of Britain, although American made, was the Lockheed Hudson. Edited November 8, 2018 by Fred Jack
