Hi,

Thanks a lot Mates!

Sanding, welding, riveting...

Few progress in the “office” area.
Paint session, dashboard session and gear lever/selector.
I was not that happy with the instruments, so I turned new ones and made brackets from aluminium foil.
Then test fitting.

Oils and screws added on the steering wheel and, of course, the Cavallino Rampante!

Voilà.

Too brilliant for paint, sir.

I was thinking the same thing.

This is the type of build that is arguably more interesting and beautiful in unpainted form, especially given the variety of materials used, and how most things are metals.

But when the rosso corsa goes on, it will look great too!

What a showpiece this will be!

Hi,

Thank you very much Mates!^_^

The “Bella Macchina” will soon receive her Rosso Corsa over a light coat of Giallo Modena...

The Red Beauty is not mine, so she will (I hope!) soon join her new home painted;).

Busy on planes (big real ones) at the moment, I’ll might be able to work on it and make few progress this week-end!

Thanks again for following this build!

  • 2 months later...

1/12 MFH Ferrari 312F1.

Still progressing on the Chris Amon Ferrari.
The fitting holes and the front Ferrari logo area are masked.
I had a little « spot » on the Red, so I sanded it and made a touch up.
The dampers looked to simple for my taste.
I used modified F1 Specialties brass electronic connectors and chemically burnished them, then put a center adjustment screw and finally install the knob on the damper.
A Koni decal add a nice looking detail.

Aaaaannd, there is a new kid in town!
0.3 flat pattern: tested today and happy with the result ;)
