Hasegawa A6M5c Type 52

Excellent work, and a lovely paint job!

 

But I have a question about that seat-- did version c of the A6M5 have a seat like that, or did Hasegawa take some liberties?

3rded!  I had to go back and REALLY look at the pictures to even remotely see them. Might take a wash or something similar to bring them back out?

HGW recommends a very light sanding to highlight the rivets. Haven't tried it myself - Fenous may yet show us the way.

I sprayed rivet lines with grey paint, so after some very light sanding, what I plan after hinomarus and varnish and probably oils, they will pop out. I`ve already tested it during some repairs. Also they are more visible then on the pictures, the strong light and .jpg compression make them almost disappear.
