Thunnus
The rivets look great! Definitely a different look than the holes normally used to represent rivets. Sorry for not seeing them in the earlier photos... I should've looked more carefully.
Fenous
Those were hidden under coat of paint, after some very light wet sanding they miraculously popped out. D.B. Andrus

titan8251
Very nice! How do those rivets hold up to masking? For example the OD green anti-glare panel on a P-47. Would the rivets pull off when you remove the tape? Andy
Fenous
Rivets bond to surface is very strong, don`t worry with masking (using Tamiya tape of course).

Fenous, can't wait to see more of this! I have a question about applying those rivets-- is it best to complete the whole airframe, then apply them? Or can you apply as separate units are completed (finish fuse. & apply rivets; finish wings & apply rivets; etc.)? I plan to get some of these for a build I am working on (when I get back to it...) Thanks, Tom
Fenous
Tom, I work my usual way, complete whole airframe, exl. vertical tail, and apply rivets, but any way is possible, rivets are very strongly adhered to surface. tomv87
