I must be a grumpy old man

Just watching a History channel documentary on the Vietnam war. The narrator is talking about the first air attacks against North Vietnam,  Specifically Lt Everett Alvarez who was the first pilot shot down in his A4 Skyhawk.. (He went on to survive ). That’s a great story but all the while the footage is keeps showing Phantoms launching from the carrier. Am I the only one who finds this kind of lazy documentary production irritating?

Nope...  you're not the only one.  I've seen the same Panzer III footage invading Poland, Invading France, Invading Russia, and hastening to the defence of the Normandy coast in one WWII documentary series.  I've seen the same footage on other docos, too.

That's one busy, and long-lived little Pz III.

Yep it bugs all of us, but what's worse to me

That's because almost all the journalists are gone, and we are being left with agendists who don't care about anything beyond their personal biases.
