LSP_K2
Looks just great to me. In your opinion, is this kit much of an improvement over the old Revell/Hasegawa hybrid?

Wouter
Great paintjob David, indeed very natural. Only bit I would nitpick about is the large patch of aluminium at the wing root (a bit to big to my taste). CATCplSlade

Totalize
Thank you all. Your comments are much appreciated. Wouter. Thanks for the feedback. Point taken. Some pictures of Spits show minimal bare aluminum wear at the port ring root but I found after looking at tons of pictures that even some of the spits with minimal weathering had large amounts of bare aluminum wear on the port side. So, I guess I could have gone either way on this one but chose the heavy wearing path. Just a matter of personal taste I guess.
LSP_Ron
I'd say that the wing root wear is pretty common for well used Spits. Somewhere I have a rear view of one that really shows wear but I can't find it right now. MikeC, D.B. Andrus, LSP_K2 and 2 others
