Hello Kent,

I hate to be picky, but shouldn't the undercarriage wheel hubs all be gloss black?
Beautiful work you're doing, I wouldn't want you to get beyond being able to correct the hubs if you want.

Sincerely,

Most awesome looking Kent.   What tool did you use for the riveting?   Perhaps I can go back and find this in your build.

Outstanding work - what grit and type of sanding do you use? Are the rivets made with a toothed roll wheel, or with an engraving beader?

Cheers

Alan

Thanks Guy's!

I've got several different riveting tools. But for this I decided to use my 'Excel Pounce Wheel' small wheel for the riveting.

Because the Fly Kit plastic is very soft and it i easy to make marks and panel lines. I've also used my Beading tool for some of the panels incl. the removable ones.

Sanding: I've used an old worn sanding sponge, I'm guessing around 400 grit.

Cheers: Kent

Really stunning paint work :goodjob:

I also thought that Luftwaffe wheels were black, but I don't know about the specific aircraft you are doing :hmmm:

Cheers

Alex

You are of cause right with the wheel color, thank you. I think I'm having some kind of 'tunnel vision' focusing on bringing this baby across the finish line ;-)

Cheers: Kent

So, after applying most of the decals and a final layer of future/Pledge, I was finally able to remove the masking tape and get sneak peek of the work.

Dark wash applied...

The wash is tying the camouflage colors nicely together. Landing gear and left engine in place, I'm seeing light at the end of the tunnel...
