Next group build after "nightfighter" proposal(s).

Recommended Posts

Hi Staff,

I,and maybe many others, like having a poll to decide the theme of GB's.

Keeping in mind that the NF-group build end oct 31 st,I would like to propose the theme "multi-engines"for the poll.

I've looked at the previous GB's and it's never been done.

End of Oct?  Oh my, the goodies for my planned Spit only arrive end Sept. I will never manage to finish it in a month. A multi-engine build sounds cool. Maybe I can do my 1/24 Mozzie.

Let's have a list of candidate kits first, just so we have an idea of the potential viability of such a theme. Multi-engined kits aren't very common in LSP scales, but a comprehensive list might surprise us.

That would work.  My initial read was that multi-engine was different twin-engine, but I guess it’s not, so plenty of 2 or more engined aircraft out there.  Don’t forget helicopters.

AH-64

AH-1W

Hind

Mi-8

Chinook

Blackhawk.

This is sounding pretty viable to me, after being initially sceptical. We'll run it up the flag pole at staff level and see if we can get a consensus. I'm also thinking that this might warrant a 12-month time frame, given the larger and more complex nature of most of the eligible kits.

Hi Kev,

This is a really cool sounding group build with so many prospective airframe out there. A 12 month time frame would definately be the way to go as a twin build always seems to take around a year to do properly for me !
