ringleheim
Mike, I'm enjoying your photos and watching this build come along. It looks really nice and I can't wait to see it all come together in the end. Keep up the good work! Jim
sandbagger
Hi all, Well the aircraft and ground equipment is finished. The engine access panels will be displayed as removed. All that's left now is to paint the figures and get it all in its display case. I'll post completion shots in the 'ready for inspection' thread soon. Many thanks for your comments and encouragement throughout this build, Mike Edited October 2, 2018 by sandbagger scvrobeson, Iain, bstachel and 7 others

sandbagger
Thanks. RobthePom: I replaced the two Spandau and the Parabellum machine guns with resin versions from 'GasPatch'. The kit Spandau's are molded solid and although you have the choice to use the supplied photo-etch, I prefer the 'GasPatch'. They have much finer detail and have 'open' cooling jackets, not solid. sandbagger
Hi all, The display mat I've been waiting for finally arrived from 'Coastal Kits'. I'm going to try to add a few '3D' effects to the mat to try to make it look less 'flat'. Hopefully I'll be able to post photographs of the completed model soon, Mike
