alaninaustria
She looks like a hard landing that bounced and caused a port side gear colapse and the pilot fire-walled the throttle to go-around!! but, in all seriousness (as Kevin already mentioned) - what’s with the huge span horizontal stabilizers/elevators?? cbk57
With luck it will be a 1/32 scale plane with a 1/48 scale cockpit as I like mixing subject matter these days.
gwana
Shorten the spine a little bit and it can be a biplane!
mhorina
That is the scheme of the 2nd P-40F that I just finished. Note the short antenna mast. My research showed that it was correct for that aircraft and at the time of those markings. Those markings were use because the New Zealand P-40s that they were flying and fighting with where mark that way. I know it doesn't exist because there are no pictures. You'll all will have have to trust me. Mike Horina
Bill M.
For those who have the Grey Matter conversion, I wouldn’t throw them away. The GM conversion and the Hasegawa kit build into an accurate P-40F/L. I’m hoping I will be able to say the same thing about the Trumpeter P-40F, but I’m not optimistic. Bill M. Dave Williams
I have no doubt it will be released in the next few months. Unlike their catalogue, the kits shown in their monthly release updates almost always get released on the schedule shown. That said, that box art is horrid! Hard to tell if is crashing on take off or crashing on landing? I think it's supposed to represent a P-40 taking off. I believe that the landing gear in the P-40 had a staggered retraction with one gear going up into the wheel bay slightly ahead of the other. alaninaustria
1to1scale
Lol, taking a second look at the box art...it hurts my brain. Make it stop!

chrish
I bet they’d sell like hot cakes (I shoulda been a hotcake salesman, hindsight sucks) if the box art was done by Shigeo Koike of Hasegawa fame, I don’t know how many kits I’ve bought because of his box art! And saved those lids too! alaninaustria and Out2gtcha
