LSP_Ray
That looks like a nice dio idea, Suresh! Not sure a Dragon Wagon is the best vehicle; I would think a truck mounted crane would be better although not sure if any is out there for Allies. Maybe a Diamond T wrecker? Would be a little more compact, too. I think the DW could only drag it up. LSP_K2
Suresh Nathan
No sure either. I've seen a couple of British trucks in this situation. Technically, this is an M26 Knuckley - it has an A frame and winch just like the trucks but no crane. The diorama actually shows just that - dragging the carcass up a slope. Thanks for the input! Out2gtcha
Wow, excellent looking concept. Id agree, there is every chance it could have and did happen. Lots and lots of possibilities for that dio concept. I also agree about the Diamond T maybe being a better choice for recovery.
Suresh Nathan
Yup. You guys are probably right! Although Dora's Diamond doesn't have the same ring to it as Dora and the Dragon! Besides, someone's already done it: Edited August 21, 2018 by Suresh Nathan
LSP_Ray
Wow! That would be a big diorama! Could have a good title, though, with the Diamond T: "Diamonds are not Dora's best friend." Suresh Nathan
Suresh Nathan
That's a very good point. It's also the reason I've started to think about dioramas in the third dimension to save space! LSP_Ray
Nice! Great idea. Although in my case it would blow up my vertical shelf spacing! LSP_K2 and Suresh Nathan 1

I'm not a big fan of the "poppy modelgrafix" paint jobs that are very much in vogue now in this part of the world. So this is as far as my paint contrasts get. Suresh Nathan
Needed to do the driver figure before buttoning up the truck. Minor modifications done to the stock pose so he would fit better in the cab. Edited August 28, 2018 by Suresh Nathan
