patricksparks
Had to take a break from the B-25 backdate, so I started working on the Fisher Models A1-E Skyraider, it's such a nice conversion set ! I have made a few changes so far, I have shimmed the wing roots to lower the dihedral of the wings and I have changed the kit's Douglas seat(Non-ejection) to look more like the real thing based on photos that I have found. The paint on the seat right now was applied to smooth out the seat cushions, I am going to pour a silicone mold over it eventually to make both seats(Air Force) Looking at photos of Bernie Fisher's Skyraider at the Air Force Museum the seat back cushion is green fabric and the bottom cushion is day-glo orange. otis252
Great looking work. What did you use for the seat belts? Chuck patricksparks
patricksparks
The seat belts are R & B Productions , Early U.S. Beige. I probably should have used the white or green(or a combination of both) though, but I like the look of the beige more.
