LSP_K2
Did you use some sort of flocking on the carpet area, Joe? I still have several original tubes of Funny Fur here that I intend to use some day, if for no other reason than pure nostalgia. mustang1989

It's "old school" flocking, perhaps the first commercial product of its kind,... way back when.
LSP_K2
It took me quite some time to find this image, but here's my snap of the product. The tubes are pretty well beat up, but the product itself, is nice and dry. mustang1989
mustang1989
That looks like some fine grained fibers to work with Kevin. Looks better than flocking material. This may not seem like much of an update but that fire extinguisher was no small job to paint up and put BMF on for the straps. The part came from the 68 Hemi Dart kit along with the decal on the body of the extinguisher. The gauge decal came from an instrument panel gauge decal from the AMT 67 Chevelle Pro Street kit. Guest Maxim
Coming along nicely. Gotta love the 426 Hemi. Best engine ever made in my book.

Out2gtcha
This is cool! I used that funny fur back in the day in a custom purple cab over I did. Actually works well, but I found blowing across it at a strategic point before drying makes it looks pretty cool. LSP_K2 and mustang1989

LSP_K2
Have you seen the totally cool Polar Lights Willys kits of Ohio George and Stone Woods & Cook? I just have to have them. They're apparently part of the Snap Draggins series. (I've had a "thing" for gassers, as long as I can remember.) mustang1989
mustang1989
No but I plan on checking it out. Thanks Kevin! LSP_K2

They're caricature (sort of "toons") cars, but just so very cool. There's also an Anglia, Henry J, '55 Chevy and a few others.

Got the dash mostly finished and am currently working on the steering column and steering wheel. I got the radio and equalizer installed this morning as well as installing the fabricated shifter. The OOB shifter SUCKED!! LSP_K2, Hubert Boillot and Gazzas
