Alain Gadbois
Sometimes it is easier to start from scratch than try to fix someting too inaccurate! Great work, and nice to see the good progress you make! Alain blackbetty

blackbetty
so this is where i´m at now: 66 by karl holubar, auf Flickr as for the next assembly steps i decided to not mount the tail now. i want to flip the assembly and determine the position of the landinggear and scratch it. this will allow me to get the thing to sit right. when mounting the tail a lot of weight will be placed at the rear, so i will have to insert weight through the exhaust holes. the exhausts will be last on the agenda. we will see how that turns out.... jgrease, Out2gtcha, Starfighter and 12 others

mozart
There's a lot of thinking and planning going on here, definitely not "shake and make"! Great stuff Karl, keep at it. blackbetty
Sabre F-86
Coming along nicely. I like the idea of the wing dihedral template. I have a 48th scale Nell that this will work on just fine. Ive been thinking about tossing it but I'll try this first. blackbetty
Troy Molitor
I need to admit, I know little about the history of this particular aircraft. I’m really enjoying however, all the effort and thought process and continued updates. The whale is making steady progress and the amount invested in this model is most impressive. Thanks for sharing this journey with us Karl. Just brilliant updates one after another. Thanks Troy Out2gtcha and blackbetty 1
