Alain Gadbois
Very good work on these intakes! If vac kits had a few resin parts to help in these difficult areas (plus some for the cockpit and landing gear) it would make them much easier to build. Of course the price would be higher... In any case, your project is coming along nicely! Alain blackbetty

blackbetty
some work on the fin: i seperated the rudder and made the front round part of it using some sprue. fin was reshaped a little using pics and the drawings from the MMP book. i have found these to be the most accurate 24 by karl holubar, auf Flickr Edited October 17, 2018 by blackbetty sandokan, Iain, Alain Gadbois and 3 others

blackbetty
from the outside. there are very few pics from the real plane where you can see these, they are far in and the axis is up in the fuselage, the black paintjob doesnt help either. i panted them black allready to not later have problems with masking the enginefaces 27 by karl holubar, auf Flickr sandokan, Alain Gadbois, johncrow and 5 others

blackbetty
thanx to get an idea of the cockpit opening i cut off the fairingparts front and rear that arev part of the vac canopy. i scratched it, but thankfully tigger supplies two canopys 34 by karl holubar, auf Flickr Shawn M, sandokan and Starfighter
blackbetty
ther rear part is still removable to get a snug fit. a lot of parts have little flanges as this rear fairing, along with the nacelles and wings, this makes getting a clean joint easier 35 by karl holubar, auf Flickr GROWLER 96, LSP_Kevin, Trak-Tor and 4 others 6
