Another WnW Junkers D.1

Recommended Posts

Here is my take on the wonderful WnW Junkers D.1, built out of the box apart from Master Spandau barrels and HGW textile belts.

All in all pretty happy with the results but by no means perfect but an extremely fun and enjoyable build none the less.

Wonderful! Ive always liked the mint and mauve

Thank you Brian, Agrees with you on the mint and mauve, I was going to hand paint the camo but airbrushed the scheme as tight as possible.

Nicely done Andy. I couldn't resist the NMF on mine but the scheme you chose was a close second!

v/r,

Rob

Thank you Rob, Funnily enough after I initialy painted the scheme I didnt like it and almost re-painted and went for the NMF. In the end I percivered and was happywith it in the end, my only reservation is I wish I masked and sparyed the crosses as it would have been just as quick and a lot better looking but never mind!

Looks great, Andy!  I like the subtle weathering on the ridges.

Thanks Gaz, once you get the plastic under a coat of primer all that fine detail really pops out.
