Here's a first for me.Masking the frames.

 

Done with pieces of Tamiya tape.

 

First a grey primer.Then matt black,and finally the end black mix.

 

Fingers crossed it will turn out ok. Just a bit concerned that paint will get under the tape.

45 years of practice. For some reason I never went from brush painting to air brush.:shrug:

Those are the kit's decals. Masking the markings is difficult by brush.The paint tends to get under them.

 

I always go with decals and hope they don't silver at the edges.

That's why I rarely add codes as those are mostly printed on the decal sheet as one piece.
