Wackyracer
Fuselage sealed up. No dramas at all and a very nice fit. Next up was attaching the wings. There are two gaps approx. .5mm each side so some plastic card was cut and glued. I also added a bit of sprue to see if this would negate the gap but it didn't, but left it in anyway. Wings attached. Tail wings also added Taped the engine cowlings in place to align the rear gun bulges BradG, LSP_Kevin and Jan_G
Wackyracer
Didn't quite get the plasi card flush with the edge so magic putty and tape to the rescue. Then shot a coat of Mr Surfacer 1500 and levelling thinner to check for errors/problems Jan_G, Phantom2, Erwin and 6 others

Wackyracer
Apologies for the delay but not been at the bench in September due to the 'other job' at the weekends. Anyway, this weekend managed to get some more done mainly working on adding the ailerons and getting the primer coat down along with fixing little problems Pit all done now And everything primed and ready for paint, hurrah! Tacked the engine covers in place with blutack and a tiny drop of glue Erwin, Gazzas, Jan_G and 2 others

Wackyracer
Paint time. Underside NATO black rubber black and NATO brown in various combos. Top rlm 74 with a dash of rlm 83 just for contrast to the rlm 75 Wanted to have that contrast given the heavy overspray later down the line. LSP_Kevin, Erwin, MikeMaben and 4 others
Wackyracer
Went over the base camo again as I wasn't really happy Added highlights and the rlm 76 Makatar masks for the insignia And started adding in mottled BradG, blackbetty, Out2gtcha and 4 others

Those of us that paint our own markings anyway, my best one was getting oval and non concentric roundels on the sides of a 1/32 Spitfire... it looked like it was painted by a cross eyed drunk.
