Viewing the Cosmos

Forgot to say what binoculars i'm using. They are Praktica Sport Zoom 7-21 x 25. May not be the best but the zoom function really works well. Would still love a telescope but finances won't stretch to that just yet.

I use some inexpensive 12x50 binocs (with or without tripod), and they work just great. Very shortly after I started actively viewing with my 4" telescope, I started wanting to add and additional 8 or 10 inch 'scope, but my budget just won't allow that either, at least not at this time.

Keep in mind that filters of various sorts, can help a fair amount for filtering out various wavelengths of light pollution, and are generally inexpensive too.
