Recommended Posts

hi guys

thank you for your comments , it's really appreciated !!! I am glad you like these "odd" roundels on a P 47

@Fab :  did you noticed the red earth from Luxeuil on the wheels  ;)

for infos : Luxeuil is still now day a French air force base , base of the mirage 2000 N ...." La Fayette squadron " , and still has the Indian head , and stork on the vertical fins

Your Thunderbolt looks excellent Alain!

Did you make the Cigogne and Indian Chief decals? It is fantastic that the Armée de l'Air still use the Lafayette and Cigogne emblems - great tradition.

hi

thank you Sean I appreciate!!!! no ,I didn't make these emblems , i did them by hand a while ago for your mate ( you know who !!?? ) this time I used Berna decals dedicated to the French P 47 . I noticed ( but too late) that the emblems , a well the missions board are oversized compared to the few pictures available ..... too bad ,

Love the Thunderbolt and there is so much to absorb looking at your pictures! I'm terrified of NMF finishes but I really admire folks that have that talent to do it!

Cheers...Ron
