This us fun to watch!!!! You're doing a great job!

Remember seeing that aircraft back in the 80s when I was at the Black Sea with my aunt and my uncle. Felt in love with it and always wanted to build one...but never did :-(

Is there a good Arado kit in 1/48?

Поздрави от Германия ;-)

Alex

Hi guys :)

After long break and holiday at Black Sea, it is time to finish this build :)

Continue with engine cowlings :

For the camo: some hairspray over aluminium color, preshading the panels with white and dark, paint the main green color.

Some chipping the paint with wet hard brush. After that some oils and filters over all of the green to achieve different shades of green :)

The yellow duck and some of technical stensils are decals, the rest are masks and paint ;)

What an absolutely gorgeous build. I went through from the start, where some of those photos of the tractor and trailer unit could be mistaken for being of the real thing. The painting on the airframe, with the different textures, is just sublime.  Amazing!

Cheers,

Mike
