IIRC a carrier pilot has to trap with a wire get credit for a landing. Else it is a plop on board or something.

 

The Eindecker looks to be a warning sign for new pilots to pay attention to details. Although it may have been caused by bad weather...maybe.

What Carrier is that?  the stern name starts CHA but the only US carrier with CHA in it's name is the Lake Champlain and that is definitely not her.
