JeepsGunsTanks
Hi guys! From my research for another string, I stumbled across what may be the most comprehensive source I have seen yet! http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazine/2004/01/stuff_eng_interior_colours_us.htm Enjoy Great link, it's always interesting to see another WWII subject much more complicated than it seems, with just a little digging into the detail. Gigant
Yeah, right... More paint troubles This article actually solved and simplified a paint question I was given by a fellow hobbyist on another string. But of course I took the time to read it. RLWP
This article actually solved and simplified a paint question I was given by a fellow hobbyist on another string. But of course I took the time to read it. I'm sure it does, and no - I haven't read it. Mine is a reaction to more information on aeroplane paint. It should simplify things, yet often it doesn't because of peoples opinions on what should have been, not was Next US WW2 plane I build, I'll read it. I like well researched information Richard
Gigant
It's very simple: Page 1 is an overall history of our interior painting to explain why things were done the way they were. Page 2 is the list of USAAF aircraft and their interior descriptions. Page 3 is the list of USN aircraft and their interior descriptions. Juggernut
Some of this may be dated as its been up for years. You may need corroborating evidence if it matters to you.
