I did a 1/48 Harvard some time ago and used stiring sticks from a well known coffee chain...

Going to use scrap book paper if I ever need to. Get them in all colors and 10% the price of decals.

Well, maybe not, BUT take a bow for sharing this, as it will solve some of my issues..... AND she said I could have some of her wood paper !! So win, win for me... thanks Gerhard... all good stuff...

That is still freaking genius!!!  Ok, GOTTA try that on my next Mustang floor.  Now just have to figure out where to get it...

so I go to the Michaels website, and see a few things that would work for other projects, like the 'white washed fence' paper................ I feel such a dope, I think I REALLY need to get out more.... I just can't believe I didn't think of such a simple solution ......
