LSP_K2
It is a neat subject and I look foreword to watching other people build them but this is not for me. After loosing my mind and deciding to buy one of these things, I would have to hypnotize my wife into believe it is okay to have a Trumpeter 1/48 Type VIIC Submarine in the living room and then hide the B-24 behind it. Short of her completely loosing her mind, or divorcing me I don't see ever building a 1/32 4 engine bomber of any sort. You actually bought on of those 1:48 U-Boat monsters? Any photos? cbk57
You actually bought on of those 1:48 U-Boat monsters? Any photos? Of course not, my wife would kill me that was the point of the post, I would be twice as dead. I figure arsenic in my wine but not sure what the method would be. She's Canadian so she would probably be subtle about it. LSP_K2, BloorwestSiR and Out2gtcha

Out2gtcha
Can you ever be twice as died........an interesting conundrum Holmes....... "Double Dead" is always worse than "Single Dead". Just like theres a big difference between "mostly dead" and "all dead". BloorwestSiR
STWilliams
I dunno. Folks all saying the number of different versions is a blight on the kit and they'll never get it right?? You wimps!! Take that as a challenge to take up with a smile on your face and a song in your heart!! What better way to get the model you have all been dreaming of for decades, AND a way to demonstrate your astounding knowledge and love of the subject, AND show the world your phenominal modelmaking skills by correcting all the problems!! You gotta start looking at ALL the positives!! Exactly! And with a 1/32 Lancaster due September, there's really not much wrong with 1/32 4 engined bombers. Besides the space. And money. And time. But, besides the space, money and time, it's all good! cbk57 and williamj

Like this? https://youtu.be/grbSQ6O6kbs My wife probably wouldn't kill me (probably) but that doesn't solve the lack of space to display it once completed. Dennis7423
My local hobby shop (Colpar's HobbyTown in Aurora, CO) had fliers up in the store today to preorder one of these beasties, with the tag line "coming soon". When I inquired when and for what price, they reached out to their distributer who had a collective "I dunno" for release date and price. I actually had my hopes up for a minute :-/ - Dennis S. Dennis7423
Anyone seen any sprue shots yet? Once kits hit Trumpeter/HobbyBoss' Facebook release schedule, it's a pretty done deal that it will be released. THAT portion of their release schedule has been very accurate over the years. Rumor is Asia release late October, so we should see these in November on other sides of the pond. Hope I can get a look at one. Perhaps we'll see one at Telford? - Dennis S. Out2gtcha
Seems odd to have a release a bit more than a month or month 1/2 out and no one has seen any sprue shots?
