Grizly
Looks good but I too would have preferred skinned over windows that could be punched out in order to replicate earlier Lancs. Such an initiative would have provided a broader base kit which offered the modeller a wider selection of subjects. My choice would have been a post-war Canadian Mk.10MR. I've built one in 1/48 scale and 'removing' the windows is a real pain. Hopefully HK sees fit to offer a version of the kit without windows in the (near) future. alanash1963
Bill_S
Wonder if the kit will come with that clear nose? It's available for pre-order now! https://freetimehobbies.com/1-32-hk-models-avro-lancaster-mk-iii-preorder/?mc_cid=fefab692cc&mc_eid=364063b898 alanash1963, Uncarina, Out2gtcha and 1 other
Dennis7423
Two more photos from the show that I thought would be of interest. Looks awfully sharp... Gerhard
Ouch $330, a bit out of my reach right now. I have so many kits now anyways. alanash1963 and LSP_K2

ScottsGT
With so much interior detail, why not a clear fuse half like the R/M 1/48 B-17 kit? Would make a great display. alanash1963
GrahamF
£250 that's no more than I expected. Graham scvrobeson, monthebiff, mozart and 3 others
Dennis7423
Really excited about the level of detail I am seeing, and also, strangely, about those wing attachment points. That is one of my favorite features of their B-17 kits... super sturdy, and easy to detach the wings for storage if one so desires. Glad to see they took a good idea and transferred it to another kit in their line. Now, HK, where's that B-26 Marauder? Pretty please? - Dennis S. esarmstrong
I don't see any exterior detail in the way of panel lines and rivets. I guess that will come when the tooling process progresses further? alanash1963
G-Man
25x38 inches! That thing is massive, talk about shock and awe. I don't even know how I'd paint it once assembled. alanash1963 and scvrobeson
npb748r
great pictures thank you - it's close enough now, I'm off to start my research. Can't wait, hopefully will end up a standard bomber and a dambuster (although I would also be tempted by a grand slam carrier and some of the post war schemes look really interesting such as 1950's Egyptian airforce plane). This will be the kit of the year for me, even without having it in my hands. I never thought I'd see a Lanc in 1/32 scale in kit form - how things have changed for the better in the last decade when it comes to 1/32 kits. Artful69
Well ... It has been said that the kit would be worth the wait ... and that wasn't wrong! It looks awesome! ... No wing/engine shots though - Perhaps they're still being tooled? Rog alanash1963
