Dieselpunk BF 109

Recommended Posts

Like most of us, there are far too many kits & projects than there is time so one has to go with the feeling when the Muse inspires. I found this wonderful image on a google search.

It's a variation on steampunk called deieselpunk which is described as.. "  a genre similar to steampunk that combines the aesthetics of the diesel-based technology of the interwar period through to the 1950s with retro-futuristic technology and postmodern sensibilities."...

In other words, let your imagination make up weird, wacky, wonderful things !!... There are neat things..

So, the muse bit HARD... and I'm off to the races with this. Though the markings that the artist Matt Savage  http://mattsav-concept.blogspot.ca/  put on it are British, to me it looks more German in design, so this will be built as the dieselpunk version of the WW II BF-109... Ya, I know... I'm doin' it again !! :evil_laugh:

Well, it’s a design that could have been fathered by Blackburn ;) ...
