Yep it's just DIY foil tape used for Airconditioning and such. Our Local DIY chain stocks it here in NZ.

I think it depends on what you stick it to.

 

Of course surface prep is the main thing, and if you are unsure, it pays to test it on a spare/scrap surface.

Still builds into a nice little model IF you can keep AMS under control. I have more than a few of their older ones. I even have a Ki-61 in the stash
