K5IKL
What is a good replacement color for the MM CF-101 Voodoo Grey, since Testors dropped it long ago? Cheers, Jerry Jeff
K5IKL
Take some white, add a little black at a time until you get FS16515. There has been model paint manufactured as "BAC 707 Gray" which is the same exact color, although I'm not sure it's readily available anymore. It's a completely neutral grey that's very, very, (very, did I mention, very?) easy to mix yourself. Thanks Jennings, I'll give that a try. Sure sounds easy enough for an old fart like me. LSP_K2
I always assumed all Voodoos were just painted ADC Grey;... this is not the case? Just curious.
Snowbird3a
USAF Voodoos may have been, but Canadian Voodoos were FS16515(after 1980). Its actually Alumigrip Light Grey AA92-A-312. Tony Jeff, Tony T and LSP_K2

Tony T
Wonder if we'll ever see those missing Century Series in 1/32 ? I like the 16473 Aircraft Gray finish better, but we could all use an F-101B to paint (and an RF-101C, also in my dreams). I'd be more worried about the shade of red used in the decals. LSP_K2
Not the Canoodlians, just the USAF. I'll only ever build a US Voodoo, so I'm good with that.
K5IKL
I'll only ever build a US Voodoo, so I'm good with that. I have decals for a Canuck Voodoo so wanted to do at least one CF-101.
Fred Jack
I so want a 1/32 Voodoo. They look so good next to a 104 with their T tails.
