Fred Jack
My Lord, I got mine in Italian markings. I feel like I'm going to build a miniature Pocher car kit, Wow!! I'm not sure yet how much drilling I am going to do or just glue. Either way, it puts the detail far and beyond anything I ever saw. I have gotten a SPAD Xlll and a Neuport 17 in Italian markings to go with it. Now I do wish there were other Italian planes on the market. LSP_K2
I've heard some good things about the quality. Too bad it's such an ugly subject, or I might be tempted.
Fred Jack
It is such a complicated kit with a lot of drilling and adding pins, such as building up the rudder peddles, but I see no need to do all that, maybe 1/8th scale but not 1/32nd, so I'm just going to glue things together. Yes it is ugly, but so is the Aviatic Berg C-1, and I'm going to have one of those as well as the Junkers D-1. But I do like nice looking planes too. We need more Italian Front planes like the Hanriot, SAML 2, Pomilio, Caproni's, Aviatic C's, Brandenburg D & C types, Phonix C & D types. etc.... Iain
This kit is a real labour of love if ever I saw one - and Richard is an absolute perfectionist! Iain
