petrov27
Looks fantastic! Regarding the belts, I assume those are the beige type from RB? What did you use to stain/weather them? Wolf Buddee

Wolf Buddee
Wow, honey I stunk the plane. Don't call dad.Thank-you Mike. I hope you meant " shrunk"! It's been a while since I've enjoyed my wife's Chilli. Cheers, Wolf Nice. Love the band fasteners and steel knob fastener on the bottle. Plus you can read the tag info. Wash is smooth. Nice post. Sincerely, Mark Thanks Mike, always a pleasure having you check in. You always catch the little details which you've a master at yourself. Cheers, Wolf Beautiful work Wolff. I am amazed at the detail and quality of painting on the model fingers Thanks Don! I took extra special care to clean the fingers when I realized they would appear in the photo, LOL! .......and that's the hand that still needs surgery so I used just the right camera angle so you can't tell. Wolf Buddee
Fantastic looking seat and rear bulkhead Wolf! Nice touch on mixing up the shades of green too. Gives it a bit more character. I don't think there's enough weathering on them. No paint under the finger nails or glue on the tips. Otherwise they're pretty good. Carl Thanks Carl. Funny you should mention the different shades of green. I thought the green on the oxygen bottle would stand out more but it's not that far off from the interior green. Afterwards I thought it would have stood out more if it had been yellow but that would have made my question about the bottle's colour pointless. The little info tag in red adds the bling eh? Cheers, Wolf Looks great Wolf! Thanks Ron, good to hear from you. Have you talked to Richard lately? It's been a while for me. Wolf Buddee
Total Buddee modeling sweetness, that nobody could ever replicate. I hate you. Cheers, Chuck Thank-you Chuck! Not sure about the " nobody could replicate" thing though. Your own Spitfire build is proof aplenty! I hate you too.... Cheers, Wolf Looks fantastic! Regarding the belts, I assume those are the beige type from RB? What did you use to stain/weather them? Hello Patrick! Thank-you. The belts are indeed the beige type from RB. Once the belts were draped and finally in their position I gave the a coat of Future or Pledge, what ever it's called now, applied with a brush and the gave them a wash with The Detailer brown wash fluid mixed with a drop of dish soap and thinned with distilled water. Cheers, Wolf Man, I just had to come back to this thread - together with my morning coffee and get ready to be inspired! Great work Wolf! I love the tutorial style postings! Wolf Buddee
Thanks Chuck, LOL! She's cute but not as cute as Fritzi. You really do have to bring her back! Cheers, Wolf Beautiful! I'm working on one of these right now! Although mine is a FAA machine. Following along Justin. Thanks Justin! Do you have a WIP thread for your FAA build or have I missed it? Cheers, Wolf You crack me up Martin, LOL! Does this mean I have to put my Mickey Mouse model next to the Corsair when it's finished? Cheers, Wolf Wow. LOL Tim. I said the same thing but said it backwards. We'll have to catch up in Phoenix. Cheers, Wolf

Guest Peterpools
Hi Wolf Right with you in the same boat of little time for building and in my case, add in a depleted reserve of modeling juice for the time being. Absolutely brilliant work: the Big P&W is a master piece all on it own Inspiration for sure. Then add in your progress on the IP and seat assembly - Holy Cow - just lov'in your gifted touch. Keep 'em comin Peter
Wolf Buddee
Thanks Peter! I was actually getting a little concerned with your absence Peter. I know the weather in your neck of the woods has been truly awful and I've been thinkin' 'bout you and Diane. Are you guys hold in' out Ok? You know, sometimes just sitting at the bench and starting to fiddle with stuff is enough to get the creative juices flowing again. When is the show you need to have the SBD finished for?
