Wolf Buddee
That's a gorgeous cockpit Wolf! I love the details and neat touches like the two shades of green. Thanks John! The interior green and dull dark green colour combo came from reading Dana Bell's excellent 2nd book on the Corsair. On the inside of the back cover it shows an F4U-1D cockpit painted the same and notes that subcontractors of certain components were still delivering them in dark dull green as late as the 1D's build. I had to go that route as it makes the cockpit a little more interesting eh? Cheers, Wolf D.B. Andrus
Wolf Buddee
Stupendous work, Wolf! Kev Thanks Kev! Admittedly, looking at how you built your Corsair, I might be taking the easy way out. Cheers, Wolf LSP_Kevin

chuck540z3
I always smile when I see your work Wolf, because it shows me how much further a modeler can go as we grow our skill sets over time and practice. I may never reach your level, but it sure will be fun to try, which is what modeling to me is all about. JeepsGunsTanks
Man, this is why I love 1/32 and bigger scales, your cockpit work is so fantastic, you are an artist! You could go take the manual for the -1 Corsair and identify all the controls, this forum has a ton of talent. Wolf Buddee

David Hansen
i really like what you did with the cockpit, Wolf. Nice variety of colour. With that and the engine wrapped up, the build should go very quickly from here on out. -d-
