Bearing stable doors and bolted horses in mind, for manufacturing multiple identical pieces like your wing ribs, I would cut overlong strips of roughly the correct dimensions and form them into a flat, aligned bundle. Then apply a spot of thin cement at one end to bond them loosely together, taking care not to flood them into an unholy mass.

Just enough to tack the excess ends together, so they can flick apart like leafing through pages in a book.

You can then draw your template on the outer one and carve and sand away everything that's 'not rib'. When done, cut to length and they should all be reasonably identical.

Nice job though, doing it the hard one-at-a-time way!

Here's the result of about 10 hours work on the wing/flap structure so far:

Both inner sections are now more or less complete, with the outer sections to be tackled next. I may well give @Chek's method a go...

Very neat work on those flap housings Tom. A mirror base will be a must so they can be seen.

One thing I neglected to mention about my multi-method, is to use a clamp along he bottom edge to hold the bundle together.

I used a large Bulldog clip spring clamp the last time I indulged, but no doubt better more sophisticated solutions exist.

Afternoon folks...

The flap aperture detailing has progressed well - the main structure is now done, with the exception of the flap motors that'll need making and adding later on:

When the final detailing has been done, these ares will be given a good spraying of zinc chromate - but that won't happen until the model is ready for painting.

In other news, I've finished adding the veins to the spoilers on the wings:

And these are the beautiful 3D printed wheels that a friend kindly did for me:

Unfortunately the colour of the plastic means a lot of the details are lost to the camera, but believe me they're stunning!

Now, better get the table cleared for dinner...

Happy modelling folks, and all the best for the festivities!
