mozart
You've made a damn good job of those flame dampers Andy, well worth all the effort and cussing because they are such a prominent feature on the plane. monthebiff
monthebiff
Some really good progress on the G-4 in the last few days and getting close to completion. First up was fitting the landing gear and then the fuel tanks. and then moved on to the MG 151's in the nose and adding the flash suppressors. really happyI glued tubes inside the nose for the gun barrels to slide in and out at will. and then the flame dampers. Also managed to add the internal frame work to the rear canopy hatch. Time to add all of those fragile bits and pieces hanging of this aircraft which there an aweful lot and then finish weathering and as always thank you for your encouragement and comments throughout this build. mozart
Fabulous work as ever Andy! As you allude to, G4s get more "fragile" nearer to completion because there are so many delicate bits sticking out in every direction! Gentle hands needed!! monthebiff and Out2gtcha

You are not wrong there Max, spent some time today trying to build the Master Fu220 but gave up. Bloody annoying so I'm thinking one per day maybe?
