Question on the Revell 1/32 He 111H-6

Recommended Posts

I can't find any pics online that show whether the H-6 boxing (vs. the P-1 boxing) comes with the narrow chord prop blades, or only the later paddle blades (or both).

Anyone know?  Are there any other significant differences in the kits other than the engines and the external ordnance load?

Tks!

J

It only has the broad propellers. It also comes with later (bigger) main wheels, and a few different clear parts for the gondola. https://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/rm/kit_rg_4836.shtml

I don't see any prop blades in any of those pics.  That's why I asked...

Those 3 big paddle shaped things in the middle of the two left sprues with the engine halves and bombs sure look like props to me.

The P1 does come with the narrow cord propellers.  Also it has the earlier style gondola, and nose armament.

The conversion from CMK is very nice, with great detail.

I was looking to take the P1 to the H6 as the H6 kit is non existent anymore (but thanks to this site I found one), and gave up once I realized the differences between the P1 and H6 gondola.

Still love the kit as it's very well done IMO.

The ventral gondolas are different

Significantly different btw, unless you are from the ‘looks like a..†school.

Nothing wrong with that school, before anyone chimes in, just trying to put the differences in context
