aircare84
Just finished my summer build last week.Kit is Hasegawa's 1/32 Fw-190 D9 painted in the markings of 'Blue 2' assigned to IV/JG3, photographed in Prenzlau in March 1945. I used Jerry Crandall's Fw-190 Dora, Vol. 1 as reference.Added aftermarket; Eagle cowling, main & tail wheels; Quickboost gun cowl, gunsight & exhaust stacks and HGW seat belts. My first try at riveting. Riveted the entire airframe using RB Productions riveter tool. Added details to the cockpit, brake lines & other details to the MLG, replaced wing cannon barrels & pitot tube with brass tubing, modified the kits inaccurate flap position & added gunsight lenses, antenna & antenna spring. Painted using a combination of Xtracolor on topside & White Ensign for the RLM 76.National markings painted on using masks. Blue 2 & stencils are decals. Panel line wash applied & weathered using pastels. Thanks for looking & all comments are welcome.Larry Shaka HI, Uncarina, mywifehatesmodels and 6 others

Martinnfb
Fantastic work Larry . I like it a lot, the right amount or weathering blends everything together, I can also imagine the tedious riveting, but it paid off at the end. Bravo! BTW: I like your avatar too Cheers Martin
LSP_K2
Very nice indeed, and the exact same markings/scheme that I chose for my own D-9 (old Hasegawa kit), many, many years ago.

dodgem37
Nice details. Good show. Doras are a fave. Do you know the history of the over-painted Chevron Bar? Thank you. Sincerely, Mark
