Uploading photos from iPad/iPhone

Sorry for the newbie question but what is the easiest way to upload photos directly from an iPhone or iPad. I use imgur from my pc which seems to work well but the app doesn't seem to have as much functionality.

It's a bit fiddly. Photobucket charge now so I use Flickr, but you also need an app called PhotoExplorer, which enables you to upload the bit.

Once you get used to it it's about 10 taps per photo...

Unfortunately for Imgur, it's best to go to the website using Safari on your phone or iPad since their app doesn't have a lot of the options that you have access to on the web page.

I've found that even using the Safari web app on the iPhone/iPad doesn't provide the necessary functionality to be able to select the size so it ends up posting a huge picture.  Seems they have a mobile website it defaults to if using something other than a computer.  It sucks.

 

I've started using ImageShack and it works slightly better, but it is also somewhat limited in functionality via mobile device.

I always send the pics I took to my email, then I download them on the PC and everything continues normally.

I have smugmug. It works great for uploading pics from my phone. It lacks a little though when copying them from smugmug to lsp. Its hard to get the link copied since it's a bear to select the text snd then hit the right spot with my finger to get the copy/paste bar to pop up.

I don't know how it's done, but has there been any talk of putting the forum on the app Tapatalk? I use it for another forum and it makes sharing photos via phone super easy. You can simply take a picture an upload it right to the forum.

I'm just investigating this option now, which I'd never come across before. We'll see if it's workable.

I use https://postimages.org in Safari.

 

It will retrieve images from my iPad, resize them as required, and give me a "hotlink for forums" to enter in the comment box to display the image.
