scvrobeson
Not worthy. This build is better than a real Tomcat. Love the texturing work on the tires Matt
F`s are my favs
The tires actually look to me a little bit more overwhelmingly weathered. But that should be cause of the macro. The pylons however are.... flawless! Beautiful!

Fancherello
landing gear assembled and set onto the fuselage, a quicky dry fit with wings to cheks that everything is level ! ( i picked a grey background to have a better rendition of tyres aspect !) sorry for the pic quality, my phone camera doesnt ike my photo booth light bulbs, but you've got the idea of the attitude with the shortened main landing gear. ( i had to adjust the front wheels spacing too, as they were to far from the center line ) thank you for all your kind words ! wardog
Fanch, Great work as usual! Out of curiosity, what technique did you use to represent the scratching and chipped paint on the gear? Also, the texture you applied to the tires looks very convincing; if we didn't know better, we'd think they were made of rubber. I'll definitely be using that technique on my models. -Elmo A-10LOADER
Fancherello
Hello and thank you very much for these kind comments. Chipping is done by dabbing some dark greypaint with a pad made of foam, exactly the same foam that i used to texture my tyre tread, Scratches are done with a brass brush pencil, sourced here: http://www.greenstuffworld.com/fr/outils-de-travail/690-stylo-gratte-brosse-scratch-brush-pens.html Edited September 21, 2018 by Fancherello A-10LOADER and Anthony in NZ
Fancherello
hello too much time since last update ! I,ve since erased and repainted the tail Skulls and they are now in the correct position and size. At last, these were turning me crazy. Ordnance is now ready and set on the airframe, i'm now working on the canopy framing and cockpit contour. And Best Thoughts and wishes to Paul Fisher.
