LSP_K2
With the exhausts now spritzed with MM burnt metal and given a couple of dirty grey/black washes, they look quite acceptable now, at least to me. Just when I now thought this IP was finished, I noticed (after uploading the pics), that I have not yet added the ammo counter markings. Oh well, back to the bench for me, I guess. LSP_K2
Elevators and rudder now have copper pins added to help with rigidity, once glued firmly in place. (These obviously still need to be trimmed shorter.) Greg W
Sabre F-86
Looking at all the ejector pin divots, I have to wonder if they paid the die designer by the ejector pin? I have this one in the stash somewhere. Watching this and keeping notes for when I get round to it after I retire. LSP_K2
LSP_K2
Hard to tell perhaps, but I took advantage of some really nice weather here today (for February), sitting out on the deck and finished the major prep work on the wing assembly. A few little touch-ups here and there, and it's ready to attach to the fuselage (once I get that work finished). LSP_K2
I found this inverse plan view in one of my '109 books. Even though this is for a G-10, mine, from what I can gather, will be near identical to this. 109, Gazzas and Out2gtcha
LSP_K2
Most of the starboard wiring guts have now been added, so I'm rapidly approaching painting time, which I dearly enjoy. Sorry for the lousy photo (it was the best of three). Gazzas, Shawn M, MikeMaben and 2 others

LSP_K2
Something that I've put off for far too long, but needs to be done before the 'pit is painted, is to add the shelf (for lack of a better term), behind the pilot seat. Once this is thoroughly dry, I'll trim to shape and add the harness attachment points. Shawn M, Out2gtcha and Gazzas
LSP_K2
Owing to circumstances somewhat beyond my control, I realized that I don't have the time to finish both of my planned projects for a show here in September, so I needed to pick one of the two. I've chosen this one for completion. Greg W and Gazzas
Greg W
Really good. Are you going to present it as a stand alone model or park it on a base?

It'll be on a simple base, probably just grass. Right now I'm trying to figure out if my Tamiya 1:25 pilot is here so that I can finish that too. ade rowlands
Keep going Kev. Mine has been consigned to the bin. I just wasn’t happy with my efforts with the kit. There’s lots of scope for detail with it. If there’s no 1/32 109 from Tamiya I may just have another go around with the Trumpeter kit if I can steel myself for eradicating all those pin marks all over again.
