Inside of the cockpit, not much light will be on the seat, so IMHO I wouldn't dark it too much. It's like RLM66 on german cockpits. The actual RLM 66 is quite dark, and I use to light it up with a lighter shade of gray, because when the fuselage is glued together, there won't be much light inside.
