Out2gtcha
Wow, just a really well done, and great looking model Max! mozart
Alain Gadbois
Very nice and very interesting with the half retracted gear. You might wonder if the pilot is retracting it after takeoff, or just remembered to lower it before landing! Alain mozart

mozart
Thank you all for your kind comments, they are very much appreciated. The main reason that I started modelling again in 2005 was because I wanted to re-create scenes that mattered to me, where I had some association. My father was, is, my hero so accurately modelling aircraft that he flew is an important aspect of my enjoyment of this wonderful hobby. Bring on the Mk 1 Harvard (but not this year!) mozart
Talking of which, the photo that I posted previously of the Mk 1's over the Mazoe River, I have one of my father's maps used for navigation exercises: so I had a closer look in the boxed area, and there quite clearly is the location: the Mazoe River and the distinctive line of hills. Kind of rounds all this off quite nicely!! MikeC and Cheetah11
DerekB
splendid work on the model Max. That prop looks like it's ready to slice off a finger! mozart
mozart
Thanks for that Derek. As we all appreciate, there's no easy answer to simulating an in-flight prop-driven aircraft, but of the options available this is the solution that I prefer, others I know differ!!
