Guest Maxim
Hi all, I have been thinking what to start for a works in progress build as I would like to share my work and ideas. So my problem is as follows: two choices: F-8E Crusader, relying on the new Zotz decals that are coming. No release date as yet. F-4J Phantom, depending on if I can find VF-114 decals from the Zotz F-4J Mig Killers sheet. Suggestions anyone? Cheers, and have a great Sunday! DONG
Max I have the VF-114 markings from the Zotz sheet the stencils and insignia you will have to find. PM if your interested. Don
allthumbs
Compromise, split the difference and build a Fisher F-6 Skyray! Seriously Max, you can't go wrong with either. My vote would be for the Crusader though, if for no other reason than you don't see too many built, at least in large scale. Rich Joel_W
Hubert Boillot
One is good looking ... the other has the looks only a mother can love (now starts the fight !) Go for the F-8, if only for the good looks Hubert

viperfixer
Since I just bought the F-8E kit myself and really like what's in the box, I would love to see a WIP here, so I say gofor that one!

Joel_W
Rich, All things being equal, I vote for the F-8E just because there are a million F-4 builds on LSP and hardly any F-8 builds. Joel
Bill M.
If it helps, Paul Fisher said he was looking at doing some corrected F-8 detail parts, including the Y missile racks. Don't know when we might see these though. Same for the Zotz F-8 Mig Killer decals-- it looks like they're coming but we don't know when. Bill M. Guest Maxim
Thanks for everyone's suggestions! Seems the F-8 is the most popular choice so I guess we'll start with that! F-4 will be build tw. Actually I'm thinking I may just build two F-4's side by side. VF-114 and either Col Olds SCAT F-4 or an F-4B if I can find decals. The F-8E I will go for VF-211 and will use the following" Trumpeter F-8E Aires F-8E cockpit and wheel bays Eduard Cockpit and airframe parts G factor landing gear Master Models Pitot Tube Fisher Windscreen Zoztz Decals , when available. Have I missed anything else? Cheers, Max
