Thanks alot guys. I recently entered the model in the Australian Model expo in Melbourne where Sean attended to view `his' model. As we were walking into the venue he told me that he had brought along two things that were a connection to the Mirage that he flew on his FCI grad flight. Once he had looked at the model, he reached in his pocket and pulled out two bomb fuse safe/arming loops that were used to safety the actual bombs that he carried on the day in 1982! To think that Sean pulled these off his jet after landed 35 years ago and kept them all that time and then to give me one as a gift is mind boggling indeed.

Hi Eric

The model looks magnificent in the final setting. The arming wire rings add such a unique part to it. I see in your build of the Mirage IIIC you were wondering about purpose of the the yellow stripes on the stick. Has Sean explained it to you? If you see him again let him also tell you about the spin characteristics and recovery technique of the Mirage III. As a pilot I think you will find it interesting.

I am looking forward to your next build.

Regards
