Here are photos of my recently completed Roden Bird Dog. A nice little kit. For those attending the Australian Model Expo in Melbourne this weekend, Mac will be attending the show to view `his' Bird Dog on Saturday and Sunday. Be sure to come and say hi.

Painted to represent the aircraft that Macaulay was awarded his DFC in during the Vietnam conflict.

Modifications/Additions.

Scratchbuilt harnesses
Airscale decals for the instruments
Scratchbuilt outer pylons
EZ Line antenna with brass fittings
Tail wheel chain made from lead foil.

Anti collision beacon and antenna fairing scratchbuilt.

AoA decals

Thanks alot guys.

Fantastic work- love to see/hear some of the history attached to aircraft, and the build is just top notch- Bravo! :clap2:

Thunda, have a look at my WIP of this model, there is plenty of historical stuff that I posted including Mac's combat write ups for his DFC.
