Dave Williams
Looks like Caracal Models has a new sheet coming. http://www.caracalmodels.com/cd32022.html Was hoping for "Sex Machine" personally, but it's good to have choices other than "Smoke II". zerosystem
When did the F-104 change to the rectangular nose gear door as seen in photos?
Tony T
I believe it was the other way round. The angled front type (which overlap the fuselage) came later, on the G etc. There is more info on RHAWS etc mods in the master link I provided. The gear was later deleted but some nose art survived until the aircraft reached the PRANG in 1967. Looking forward to Italeri's TF-104G and hoping Caracal will bring out a BiCentennial "Lukewaffe" sheet. Tony
