Palm-tree
Hi anyone know whether there is a source for the AN M-30 100 lb bombs in 1/32 scale as carried on the B-17? Thanks in advance P-t
ziggyfoos
I may be wrong, but I think the 250lb bomb (M57) is the smallest I've seen available in 1/32. One of the Z-M Skyraider weapon sets comes with 12 of those. LSP_K2
Barry
How "visually" close would a 200-250lb bomb in 1/72 scale be? True Details has some in 1/72. Barry

I've also occasionally used larger items from a smaller scale, to represent smaller items in a larger scale.
Palm-tree
Thanks for the ideas guys, not a bad idea to use a smaller scale to represent the smaller bomb in the larger scale but I cannot think of any that look visually like the AN M 30. As it was a common enough munition carried during WW2 and Korea, I figured that some manufacturer might include them with their kit? Maybe the after-market guys will be able to help? Harold
I have already made the M47, it is the same diameter and has almost the same fin set, so....I used on of the M47's to do the M30. Edited May 19, 2017 by Harold dutik
