cib2265
This is my first completed 1/32 kit, started more than a year old when I didn't know what I was doing - I still don't really! There's quite a few flaws, but I loved the build and will do another (just started a Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire VIII) Also trialling a new light tent that fits these big birds. I struggled to get variation in the dark green upper camo and the dirty look of the in service bird. I should've taken some photos of underside as well.... Markings are Kitworld decals, with Tamiya stars and bars and stencils - which are ok, but very thick. Will try some HGW on next build. Comments and criticism welcomed, thanks. Scale32
Wow! Excellent paint work and weathering. I especially like the wing root wear. Great scheme choice, it's nice to see something different from all the nmf birds. Cheers Bevan cib2265 and LSP_K2

Guest Peterpools
Hi Tony Yup, Tamiya's P-51 allows for a number of different sub versions of the D: With or without the fillet - two different tail sections Two different props Three different canopies fabric or metal control surfaces and I'm sure I've left out a few after having built four of them Peter
