Jackson
Folks a question for the B17 experts. Apologies if it has already been asked. Is it possible to use the HK B17F as a basis for the RAF MkII? Regards Michael mark31

Kagemusha
Yes, you have to mix the front fuselage for the B-17E with the clear F nose, you need this book http://mmpbooks.biz/ksiazki/123/ Looks like it's being republished https://www.amazon.co.uk/Boeing-B-17-Fortress-Coastal-Command/dp/8365281546 Edited February 12, 2017 by Kagemusha Jackson, LSP_K2 and mark31

nichenson
The Boeing B-17 in RAF Coastal Command book mentioned above is an absolute must. It covers all the variations. I will be building one from my E/F kit. I am not sure which variation though as there were quite a bit. Some variations you will not be able to do without some massive scratchbuilding. Anyway, wait for the second edition as the first addition has had several updates and revisions made. At one point there was a PDF of all the fixes on the publisher's website but I cannot find it at the moment. I do have it so if anyone needs it, they can PM me with their email.
