Guest Clunkmeister
Jennings, the early was built early in the production run. The late was built late in the production run. Do I need to explain EVERYTHING to you?
DeanKB
What's the difference between an early and a late Fokker built D.VII? About $100.
D Bellis
The 'Early' had a different engine, cowl panels and were finished in the streaky green fabric often seen on Dr.I airframes. D Rick Griewski and David66
Guest Clunkmeister
Hold on a second, D. My two Fokker built kits have those decals in them already. Is it a different pattern? I seem to recall someone saying that Dr.1s were green streaked over sky blue... Edited February 1, 2017 by Clunkmeister

SWApilot
SWA?Southwest Airlines. We did get a raise, but my wallet will still ache because for me, when it comes to the D.VII, one is not enough! In the mid seventies I bought an Aurora, I think, D.VII with my allowance money and have been hooked on them ever since. DeanKB
What's the difference between a nurse anesthetist and an anesthesiologist? About $200k And four years of medical school and four years of residency. The Dr's also get the best looking nurses. $200k a year can make a man look very attractive. D Bellis
Not a yuge difference? "Yuge" is subjective. To paint any type Fokker D.VII as any other type of D.VII would require the same level of ignorance as, say, painting a P-51A as Gentile's Shangri La. Besides, Wingnut Wings is not producing specialized kits for people that don't know any better. D

D Bellis
Of course. But I'd count a re-boxing with a different paint scheme as a minor production difference. Then don't buy it. That way, there will be more kits available for those of us that do know the differences. D

Rick Griewski
Very nice, I will have two kits please. A repop of sorts? No matter to me. I do need a store so I can buy from however. Rick
